  1. If I would be remembered, it won’t be for career, monetary contributions, or any other worldly commendation. It won’t be for the choices I made (a little- not all- but a lot of them were not wise choices). I hope it will be because of my kindness compassion, and love for humankind and animals, and my loyalty to what is truly right and just. And for continuing the journey after my husband’s sudden death and my daughter’s suicide. And for trying to be the best mom I could be for my son Christian. And for following Jesus, even as a frequent prodigal.

    1. Thank you so much for sharing your heartfelt sentiments. It takes immense strength and resilience to navigate through such challenging times, and your commitment to kindness, compassion, and love is truly inspiring. Your dedication to being the best mom you can be for your son Christian and your faith in following Jesus, despite occasional setbacks, demonstrate the power of your spirit. Your journey is a testimony to the triumph of perseverance and love.

  2. I want to be remembered for my strength . I want to be remembered for standing up for my rights. One time I left a good paying job because I found out a guy with much less experience was getting paid more than me. I tried talking to the manager and HR and when they kept stalling to give me fair pay I quit. I have no problem speaking up for myself .

    1. That’s really inspiring! It takes a lot of courage to stand up for what you believe in and to advocate for yourself. Leaving a job to fight for fair pay truly shows your determination and strength. Your story serves as a reminder to never settle for less and to always stand up for your rights. Keep being vocal and empowering others to do the same.

  3. I aspire to leave a legacy in several areas, but my passion for road safety stands out. I am hopeful that when discussions about road safety arise, my efforts will be remembered. Last year, I embarked on a 335-mile journey on foot to draw attention to this cause, urging the Ugandan government to implement traffic lights and zebra crossings in every village, enhance road signage, and construct pedestrian sidewalks and overpasses in bustling locales.
Equally important to me is my contribution to horticulture and urban farming in Gulu City. At Tudapark, Custom Corner, I manage a greenhouse that serves as a resource for horticultural farmers to obtain quality seedlings and basic agricultural education. My current endeavor is to secure funding to transform this space into a Climate Smart Agricultural Center. This initiative stems from my recognition of climate change as a critical issue, one that our future farmers must be equipped to understand and tackle.

    1. Thank you for sharing your passion and dedication to road safety and horticulture on your blog post. Your 335-mile journey on foot to advocate for improved road safety measures in Uganda is truly inspiring. It’s commendable that you are actively striving to make a difference by urging the government to implement essential infrastructure and enhance awareness.

Furthermore, your commitment to horticulture and urban farming in Gulu City showcases your dedication to sustainable agriculture. Transforming Tudapark into a Climate Smart Agricultural Center is a crucial step in equipping future farmers with the necessary knowledge and skills to tackle the challenges posed by climate change.

Overall, your efforts in both road safety and horticulture demonstrate a strong desire to leave a positive and lasting impact in these areas. Keep up the excellent work!
